Congratulations to the Oliver Plunkett's won the Louth Minor Championship on Sunday last. While this was a great victory for the Plunkett's it was also a great victory for standalone clubs who persevere with whatever players they have available to them in any given year, bringing in U-16 players if necessary in order to field a minor team.
It is also a great achievement for a town team when there are so many other sports and activities to choose from at this age.
