Youngsters draw blank

DUNDALK's Under-19s and Youths both suffered defeats in a rare blank for the club's emerging talent at the weekend.
Martin Connolly's Under-19s made the trip to Buncrana to face Derry City in the Northern Division of the Airtricity League and scored first through 16-year-old Dylan O'Hanlon. However, the Candystripes quickly levelled before going on to snatch all three points with a disputed late goal.
Back in Oriel Park, Shelbourne were the visitors for Sunday's Youths game and Alan Browne's side spurned a glorious opportunity coming up to half-time when Cody Magill saw a penalty rebound off the post.
After a series of missed Dundalk chances Shels struck for the winner inside the last 10 minutes.
