THE Glyde and District League is nearing the end of all competitions with the league semi finals and the cup final to play. These will be divided by the deferred league singles which had to be put back due to bad weather.

The league semi-finals are there for the taking with top of the table Soraghans at home to McNamees who finished fourth, while second place Smyths Louth Arms are at home to third place Byrnes of Castlebellingham. The men from MacNamees will be looking for revenge over Soraghans who have already beaten them in the Cup semi final this year.

In The Shield,The Rock Inn from Channonrock are at home to Boggers from Ardee while its a local derby with Sarks at home to Eamo's Bar in Louth Village.

The Cup Final has Smyths Louth Arms from Tallanstown taking on Soraghans which will be a tense affair with both teams having a number of County standard throwers. Pat Nulty is in great form lately for Smyths and Isaac Smith is hitting form at the right time for Soraghans.
