Decision on Rock's fate is imminent

ROCK CELTIC should learn their Meath & District League destiny on Wednesday when the FAI hears an appeal from their title rivals Duleek over a points deduction.

The Meath club defeated Rock Celtic 1-0 in a crucial top-of-the-table clash towards the end of the season, but Rock questioned the eligibility of one of Duleek's players and the points were later deducted following an MDL hearing, a decision upheld by the Leinster FA.

Duleek have taken their appeal further, however, and they will win the title if the FAI come down on their side, but if they lose then the celebrations can begin at Sandy Lane.
