DEREK Crilly's last gasp goal helped Dundalk Gaels earn a share of the spoils in what was a very entertaining match in Collon.

Mattock Rangers got off to a bright start with David Reid and Ryan Leneghan putting the hosts in front early on. The Gaels responded and were soon level thanks to well taken points from Sean McCann and Sean Fee.

The turning point in the first half came when referee Tony Dolan awarded the home side a penalty. David Reid stepped up and he made no mistake to put his side three points clear.

The second half continued in the same vein as the first with both sides playing attractive attacking football. Both sides traded points in what was becoming a see saw match with neither side able to assume complete control. Mattock were soon awarded their second penalty and David Reid stepped up confidently and made no mistake.

That goal was quickly cancelled out by Sean McCann who blasted home. There was to be one final twist as the Gaels poured forward to create a goal scoring opportunity with county star Derek Crilly in the right place to earn his side a draw.
