COOLEY Kickhams are organising a night of sporting nostalgia not to be missed - with none other than legendary commentator Jimmy Magee.

In the first-half of a 90-minute show the 'Memory Man' will recall the highlights of his fifty years behind the microphone at World Cups, world title fights, Olympic Games, Tour De France, and the stars he has encountered.

Discover how he christened Pele; nearly had a punch up with Nigel Benn; how the nickname came about; and how a flock of birds wrecked that same nickname.

We'll even discover how Magee felt when Joe Sheridan scored THAT goal - and find out who he rates as his all time top performer.

In the second half, Jimmy will open the floor to a Q&A session in which no sporting subject will be off limits.

This event will take place on April 10th at Cooley Kickhams Sports Complex. Ticklet info and times etc will be released closer to the event.
