A DARREN Clarke goal midway through the second half proved to be the turning point as St Mary's claimed yet another league victory to remain top of Division 2.
The Bride's played with confidence early on and were leading by 0-3 to 0-2 at the end of the first quarter.
However, with Darren Clarke hitting form for the visitors, his side took control and went in at the break leading by 0-6 to 0-4.
The Ardee side stretched the gap to 0-9 to 0-6 by the midway point of the second half and although the Brides were still in contention, the game turned when Clarke struck the only goal of the game.
Despite the best efforts of the Knockbridge men the Marys ran out deserving winners by eight points.
