Facile victory keeps Seans in the hunt

SEAN McDERMOTTS remain just a point off top spot in Division 3 following this comprehensive win over John Mitchels in Ballybailie on Friday night.

It was a difficult night for the home side as the Seans got on top from the opening whistle and had seven points on the board inside seven minutes.

Peter Osbourne grabbed their first goal of the night and a second from Emmet Duffy just before the break sent his team in leading by 2-12 to no score.

Osbourne added two further goals in the second half to complete the hat-trick while the Mitchels did get off the mark with a goal.
