ST KEVIN'S under 16s progressed to the final of the Division 2 league following an exciting semi-final against St Brides in Knockbridge

The Philipstown lads settled into the game the quickest and got their scoring off to a great start with a goal from James Meade, this was followed before half time by a further point by J Meade and another goal by Darren McMullan. With the Kevin's defence able to limit the Brides to only 5 points the Philipstown side went into the break a deserved 2 points ahead, 0-5 to 2-1.

The start of the second half saw the Brides find their scoring boots and with the help of two goals they managed to pull back the 2 point deficit and moved themselves 5 points ahead. A double substitution helped spur the Philipstown side into a comeback as Darren McMullan (0-3), Lee Crosibe (0-2), Cian Callan (1-1) and Cillian McCollough (0-1) made their mark.
