THREE MEN have been injured in separate assaults in Dundalk over the weekend, including one where a man was thrown through the window of a solicitor's office.
The window incident happened around 1 a.m. on Monday when a 28-year-old man was targeted by a number of youths who threw him through an office window at Francis Street.
The victim received an injury to his leg and was treated in Drogheda hospital for it.
In an unrelated incident, a 21year-old man from Lurgan, Co Armagh, is due before Dundalk District Court tomorrow ( Wednesday) morning, charged with assault and public order offences. It is alleged that a 28-year-old man was struck in the face in Dundalk town centre on Saturday night and received treatment in hospital.
The Armagh man was arrested and brought before a special sitting of the district court in Dublin where he was remanded in custody to appear in Dundalk this morning.
And in a separate incident, a 40year-old man, believed to be from Eastern Europe, was treated for a suspected stab wound to his ear which he alleges happened at Aghameen Park, Muirhevnamor, around 8am on Sunday.
