School fundraiser

THE Bellurgan Parents Association are holding a fashion event with local boutiques Unique and Sheba on Friday, March 21.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in Fitzpatricks Bar. All are welcome. Tickets are priced €10 and are available from the school or on the door that morning. Light refreshments served.


Roche Ladies are holding a fundraising table quiz this Saturday, March 22, in the Barleycorn, Kilcurry. A table of four cost €20. Everyone welcome.


THE Dundalk under-15s representative team are having a book and bake sale in the Longwalk Shopping Centre on Friday, March 21, and Saturday, 22 March, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

They are raising funds to take the under-15s team to represent Dundalk in the Northern Ireland Milk Cup Competition on July 27.

Everyone is welcome to come for a browse and buy.


THE Parish Pastoral Council AGM will take place on Monday, March 24, at 7.30 p.m. in the parochial house. Nomination forms are available at the back of the Churches.


Volunteers are urgently needed for Daffodil Day in aid of the Irish Cancer Society on Friday, March 28. Anyone who would like to help out should contact Olive on 9326641 or Pauline on 9339257.


Congrats to Luke Coburn-Moran, a first year student at The Marist who is currently first in the First Year leaderboard. This is a national competition and it's a great achievement for Luke.


The Redeemer Family Resource Centre will hold their AGM in the centre on Wednesday, April 9, at 7.30 p.m.
