Jenn is a fully qualified and experienced lifeguard, swimming instructor and a passionate swimmer.

This programme is suitable for children aged between nine and thirteen who are able to swim at least 100 metres non-stop and tread water for 2 minutes.

Each week the rookie lifeguards will learn different skills focusing on CPR, lifesaving techniques, first aid, and strengthening and improving of swimming skills.

Upon successful completion of the training all rookie lifeguards will receive a certificate, badge and the option to move on through the various levels of the programme.

Through training people how to stay safe on or near the water and how to assist when someone is in difficulty in the water the number of people who drown will reduce.

Anyone interested in enrolling for the autumn term please phone 086 3983403. Spaces are limited and available on a first come first served basis.
