DYNAMIC POP duo Jedward made two Louth kid's dreams come true on their ' OMG! Jedward's Dream Factory' which airs on RTE this Christmas day.
Friary pupil Luka Murphy (9) was one of Jedward's dreamers, having won the trip of his life to see his favourite team Manchester United play, and meet their star players.
'My sister Tara and I saw an ad for the show on tv and we sent an email asking if I could go to see Man Utd. A few weeks later my dad got a call saying that I was going over, I couldn't believe it!' Luka told the Argus.
Not long after, he also received a video message from Jedward to say that his dream was about to come true.
'I couldn't believe it! I had never been outside Ireland before, never been on a plane, so it was really exciting.
Luka jetted off to Manchester with his dad Peter in September, and even got a chance to sit up in the cockpit with the pilot.
He arrived in Manchester where he met the Man. United players and walked onto Old Trafford as their team mascot alongside team captain Patrice Evra. He even had a playful run in with Rio Ferdinand
'It was the most amazing experience ever, I'll never forget it,' said Luka.
Also featuring on the show is Lynsey Reilly, aged 16, from Shrewsbury Manor, Drogheda.
In the first episode of the series, Lynsey Reilly dreamed of meeting her all time favourite band, ' The Saturdays' and asked Jedward for their help.
The pop duo granted her wish by arranging for Lynsey to meet with Una, Mollie, Frankie, Vanessa and Rochelle from the chart topping girl band, when they appeared on RTE earlier in the Autumn.
If that wasn't enough, Lynsey was given a surprise makeover worthy of any pop star by top stylist Sonya Lennon! 'It was a fantastic experience for Lynsey,' said her proud mum Susanne. 'She got to interview the girls from the band, and they did a photoshoot with her, and gave her loads of merchandise. It really was a dream come true.
