On Saturday, June 14th, over 200 people participated in the Glenmore 10 mile challenge run and 5km walk in the Glenmore heartland. Proceeds from this event were donated to The Maria Goretti Respite Centre in Lordship which hopes to provide respite for up to 39 children a year, who have been diagnosed with a disability. This is a much needed resource in our local community. A total of €1400 was raised through this event for this very worthwhile charity.
