Gardai to play Adrian Donohue memorial football match at Lordship

IN memory of their late colleague, Detective Garda Adrian Donohue, the gardai in Dundalk have organised a 4-team Football Tournament to be held at St. Patrick's G.F.C. Lordship on Saturday 5th October.

The teams competing will be Adrian's adopted club St. Patrick's, his native club Crosserlough, Co. Cavan, his wife Caroline's native club St Senan's Kilkee, Co. Clare, and the Garda team.

Commencing at 2 p.m., the Adrian Donohue Pairc will be officially named. The football will then commence. The first games will be 2 Semi-finals. Then there will be a 3rd & 4th place play-off followed by the final game of the day, the final.

The winners will receive the Detective Garda Adrian Donohue Perpetual Cup. There will also be a collection for voluntary contributions in aid of the Lordship Children's Respite Centre.

Following the final there will be a Presentation Night in the St. Patrick's Complex. All are welcome.
