DUNDALK Fibromyalgia group are holding their next meeting on Wednesday, October 2, at 7.30 p.m. at the Dundalk community centre at the Ramparts.
At the next meeting there will be a personal trainer to give a talk on how to exercise and what role exercise plays with those who suffer with fibromyalgia.
There is always help, all you have to do is ask and that is what the Dundalk support group aim to do. Past and present members and new members are welcome. Meetings start promptly at 7.30 p.m., charge is €5. Contact Ann for further details on (087) 9750899.
BEE-KEEPERS HONEY SHOW
THE County Louth Beekeepers Association are holding their first honey show on Thursday, September 26, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Teagasc Centre Dublin Road, Dundalk, beside Meehan's Garage Toyota.
Also on the night the association are presenting the certificates to the successful students who passed the FIBKA preliminary examinations for beginners and a lecture on preparing bees for winter and taking the hard work out of beekeeping.
Only members can enter their honey produce for judging at the show. All are welcome and bring a friend. Admission is free.
SNOW WHITE PUPPET THEATRE
THE Lambert Puppet Theatre will present 'Snow White' at Fairways Hotel next month.
The Lambert family has been involved with RTE television, working on the hugely popular series Wanderly Wagon featuring the Late Eugene Lambert and Judge.
Paula Lambert was the 'Bosco' voice on TV for 17 years and indeed Bosco is still a firm favourite with the younger children and will make a nostalgic appearance in the opening part of the show.
This is a beautifully produced show with large puppets,colourful sets and exquisite lighting and is suitable for an age group up to ten years of age.
The show takes place in the Fairways on Sunday, October 6, at 3 p.m. and tickets are €10 and €30 for a family of four.
