A Dundalk man finished the Boston marathon just eight minutes before the bombs which killed three spectators exploded.

And a photograph has emerged which shows one of the bombing suspects on the footpath as Martin Kelledy runs towards the finish.

Ninteen-year-old bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who was arrested following a gun battle four days after the bombing, can be clearly seen walking on the footpath wearing a white baseball cap.

Martin, who has lived in Boston for the past 15 years, had just received his medal, when the bombs exploded.
