Counselling skills training course

TRAINING Connections in Dundalk is offering a foundation course in 'Counselling and Interpersonal Skills'.
The course, which is the only one of its kind in the Louth area, is offering an introduction to psychotherapeutic approaches. It is designed to offer a unique opportunity for personal development while also serving as a 'taster' for those thinking of pursuing some aspect of counselling as a career.
It will also appeal particularly to those working in the caring professions, as the skills learned will enhance all communication.
Facilitated by a skilled and experienced training team, the course will have 60 contact hours, in a safe and friendly environment.
It will run from mid-October to March. It will take place on Tuesday evenings, from 6.30 to 9.30 p.m., at Counselling Connections in Seatown Place. Places are limited so early booking is advisable.
