THE wife of murdered Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe was a guest of Taoiseach Enda Kenny at the Royal Albert Hall in London last week during President Michael D Higgins's state visit to Britain.
Caroline Donohoe was one of a number of guests invited by Mr. Kenny to the Royal Albert Hall to attend the Ceiliuradh (Celebration) concert on the third night of President Higgins's historic state visit to England.
Mrs. Donohoe was seated directly behind An Taoiseach and his wife Fionnuala and a short distance from the North's First and Deputy First Ministers, Peter Robinson and Martin McGuinness, in a box at the famous concert venue.
A spokesperson for the government press office confirmed to The Argus that Mrs. Donohoe had attended as a guest of Mr Kenny.
The concert featured the cream of Irish musical and cultural talent that included Paul Brady, Elvis Costello, Imelda May and Dermot O'Leary.
