Bridge Street Studios to hold Christmas sale

THE weekend gets underway this coming Friday November 29th from 5pm - 9pm with mulled wine and mince pies for visitors.
The studios will also be open on Saturday and Sunday from 12am until 5pm. Following on from the open weekend, the gallery will be open every Saturday until Christmas from 12am until 5pm.
A broad range of gift ideas to suit all tastes and pockets including jewellery, paintings, prints, textiles and ceramics from €5 - €500 will be available with the added incentive of a special 10% discount at the open evening on Friday.
The artists are also inviting everyone to go along to see what goes on behind the scenes in the workspaces of an art studio. Visitors are welcome to see and talk to local artists and crafts people at work.
The studios were founded in 1996 and currently have seven members; painters John O'Connor, and Orla Barry, ceramic artists Sarah Mckenna and Mary Cowan, jeweller Fiona Thornton and textile artists Rachel Tinniswood and Fiona Quigley.
Members have had a busy year touring their exhibition 'Response' which is currently on show in Dundalk in The Basement Gallery, Town Hall, Crowe Street until Friday 29th.
