Brendan joins 'Team Bressie'

BRENDAN McCAHEY who earned a place on Bressie's team on Sunday night's edition of The Voice is well known to music fans in this area from playing gigs in The Spirit Store and Resturant No 32.
The 37-year-old from Shercock make a big impressive with his version of the David Bowie song 'Starman' when in the blind audition.
Brendan is currently a full time Dad at home and a part-time musician at the weekends, fronting a wedding band and playing piano in restaurants.
He's helped establish community groups and organised charity events in his local area for a number of different charities, as he believes giving selflessly is the reason we've been put here. He's also a huge collector of vintage vinyl records and guitars, and these are his most treasured possessions after his family.
In September of 2012 He Performed one of his songs "Safe And Well" in New York on the NBC show Jimmy Lloyd Singer Songwriter Showcase. He has also supported such acts as The Flaws, Paul Heaton (Beautiful South, The Housemartins), Boz Boorer (Morrissey) and is continually playing nationwide.
