THE NEWLY formed Ashling Park Residents Association is using the natural beauty of flowers to bring a splash of colour to Cox's Demesne.
The group had called on the community to come together to give their street a bright new makeover. Both young and old took to their street to place vibrant hanging baskets from lamp posts and homes.
These hanging baskets are complimented by the barrels of colourful flowers that are also located around the area.
Members of the Association wish to thank all those who have helped to transform their street, including Dundalk Town Councillors, Harry Todd and Edel Corrigan.
Paul Owen of the Association said: 'It's great to see everyone pulling together to improve the area. We are hoping to do this every year.'
