National Pen is 'Exporter of the Year'

DUNDALK-BASED National Pen Promotional Products Ltd has won the Irish Exporters Association's overall Exporter of the Year Award 2013

The award was presented Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Eamon Gilmore, who was guest speaker at ceremony in the Convention Centre Dublin,

National Pen Promotional Products Ltd won the Exporter of the Year Award 2013 after winning in the Multinational Exporter of the Year Award category.

The awards are presented in recognition of the contribution that multinational companies play in the development of Irish exports.

National Pen Promotional Products Ltd also scooped the overall prize for its impressive performance in selling a wide range of promotional products to 19 different countries through its direct marketing strategy supported by telesales and web channels.

Last year the company had export sales of some €60m and a staff of over 250. The company continues to grow and expects to increase its workforce in Dundalk by 200 within the next five years.
