The recently formed Fane Macra Na Feirme club held a very enjoyable fundraising night in Cluskey's of Little Ashe last Friday night. The main part of the night was a quiz with an excellent variety of questions.

The quizmaster who also done an excellent job was Chairman of the club Frank McGeeney. After a very close contest the winning team emerged which was called '8 is Great' and it consisted of Adrian Caulfield, Shane Doran and Catherine Sweeney and they narrowingly beat a team from Mochtas.

Paddy O'Sullivan give a very witty and comprensive explanation of the Macra and it's activities and wished the new club weel and assured them of any support the County Macra could give them. The evening finished off with as good as entertainment as you could ask for and we wish the new club all the best for the future. Contact for new members can be made through facebook or with the Chairperson Frank at 0877958622.
