Keith Gamier, a sixth class pupil in the CBS Primary School, won the Eason Spelling Bee Competition for County Louth.

The spelling bee is run in primary schools nationwide in conjunction with the Ryan Tubridy Show on 2FM.

'Everyone in the CBS Dundalk was delighted with Keith's great win,' said proud principal Michael Lambert. 'Keith now goes forward to the All Ireland Final in Carlow in late June. We wish him the best of luck in this event.'
