First Grad of summer
On Thursday night I headed for Dun Lughaidh school where a huge crowd had gathered to see off the young ladies and their partners for this year's Graduation Ball which was taking place in the Carnegie Hotel in Swords.
I was only after arriving when I met up with Alice Creedon from Hackballscross, Jennifer McMaster from Kilkerley and James Donnelly from Avenue Road who were all looking extremely well and couldn't wait for the adventure to get under way.
Next I caught up with David Ryan from Avenue Road who was with Kelly Renaghan from Glenwood, Sean O'Hare from Marian Park and Leanne Carroll from McSwiney Street who were in great form and told me it was definitely going to be a mad night.
After this I headed over for a word with Kim Dullaghan from Castle Park and Jessica Murphy from Castle Heights who were looking stunning and assured me it was going to be an epic 'Girls Night Out'.
Making my way through the crowds I next got talking to Emma McDermott from Mount Avenue who had brought Ciaran McMahon from Louth Village who told me it was going to be a fantastic night and they couldn't wait to get going.
Not too far away I met up with Amy Lawlor from Toberona who had brought Liam Smith from Point Road and they were up for a night of fun with Robin Martin from Toberona who was with Shane McKeever from Dromiskin (with the silver dickie bow to match Robin's beautiful dress) who were ready for all eventualities.
Making my way through the crowds I then caught up with Jake Finnegan from Louth Village who was the lucky man to be there with Katie Rice from Louth Village and they were on for a mad one with Chloe Loughran from Louth Village and Joshua Martin from Killanny who told me they were all "keeping in fresh".
Heading over to another group I then had the pleasure of taking to Holly Carroll from Kilsaran, Chloe McElroy from Haggardstown and Mark Reid from Knockbridge who were all looking exceptionally well and were certainly not going to have a quiet night.
I then met up with a couple who were looking exceptionally well and they were Chad McEneaney from Knockbridge whose patent black shoes were a real match for Lauren Rice from Muirhevnamor's black and gold dress and they were there to party.
Not too long later I met up with Kate McCann from Dromiskin and Mandy Shields from Barton Park who told me they were there to cheer on their respective daughters Nicola Shields and Ciana McGuiness who were looking lovely and were on their best behaviour (while their mums were there)!
After this I headed over for a chat with Siobhan McKenna from Knockbridge who was with her friend and gatecrasher Megan Bellew-Murphy from Muirhevnamor whom I was told, doesn't even go to the school. So what? It was probably one of the best GNO's they were going to have all year.
I then caught up with Ann Moore from Barrack Mews who had brought Nosa Irving all the way from Dublin and they were looking forward to a lovely night together.
Making my way through the huge crowds I managed a quick word with Maria McArdle from Kilcurry who told me she had brought Caolán Kelly but she hadn't a clue where he was from! Three ladies who were definitely on a GNO, they were cousins Jessica Gaffey from Toberona and Rebecca O'Donogh from Castleross who were with their buddy Ligita Mikelionyte from McSwiney Street who were there to party the night away.
After this I headed over for a chat with Aoife McPhillips from Silverbridge who was with Katie Gorham and Cian Tuite both from Fatima who had just arrived over and were straight into the thick of the party session.
Next I managed a quick word with Teodora Camarasu from The Laurels who had brought Oskar Felldin who had come over from Sweden specially to be there with Teodora and they were on for an epic night together. Heading over to another group I then met up with Andrea Duffy Castle Height who was Kevin Tuite from Oakland Park who told me it was going to be anything but a quiet graduation night.
Beside them I caught up with two ladies who were looking exceptionally well and were in great form too, they were Aislinn Taggart from Blackrock who had brought Scott Dorian from Avenue Road and Hannah Stewart from Kilcurry who was with Owen Lennon from Louth Village who were just getting ready to climb on board the bus and get the party started.
Finally, before I departed I got a quick word with Reagan Donnelly from Ashling Park who was with Liam Kindlon and Emma Carroll from Woodview Park who had brought Ciaran Jamison from Muirhevnamor who were there to make sure it was a totally mad night with all their mates.
