All smiles as Chloe celebrates her 21st
FINALLY ON Friday night I headed for the St. Joseph's clubrooms in Dromiskin where a rather special 21st birthday party was taking place for Chloe Eager from Station Road in Castlebellingham and there to make sure she had a fantastic night was her mum Jennifer, brother David, grandfather David Eager Snr and boyfriend Christopher Woods from Dromiskin and a huge collection of family friends and workmates from Hollywood's Dentist where Chloe is a Dental Nurse.
I was only in the door when I caught up with Chloe and her mum Jennifer who were both looking really well and they told me not to forget to give special mention to the 'Hollywood Girls' who were there, so I headed over and caught up with Louise Rossiter from Bay Estate who was in great form and wanted a special mention for her son Alex and partner Brian who was at home babysitting. She was there with Shauna Boyle from Greenore, Hannah Tuite from Williamstown who had managed to drag her boyfriend Damien Torris from Dunleer and they were having a laugh with Caroline McKeown from Woodbury Gardens and husband Paddy who all wanted to wish Chloe all the best on her big night.
I then made my way over to a bunch of lads who were in party mode and they told me they were Sean Cairns from Milestown, Conor Muckian from Main Street in Castlebellingham, who wanted to wish Chloe a very happy birthday, Frank Shields from Milestown, Aaron King from Annagassan, Thomas Roddy from Castlebellingham, Andrew Sharkey from Dromena Road, and Marlon McShane from Annagassan who told me it was going to be a fantastic party.
Not too far away I had the pleasure of talking to Laura Kenny from Galway who was having a great laugh with Shauna Cahill from Blackrock and Lorna Neary from Louth Village who were all looking extremely well and enjoying only some of the craic with the boys beside them.
Making my way over to another table I then caught up with Jim and Lillian Byrne from Dundalk Road who were enjoying the company of Breda, Paddy and Rebecca Tuite from Williamstown who are all friends of Chloe's and wanted to wish her a very happy 21st.
Not too far away I then caught up with Niall McCullough from Dunleer who was having a laugh with aunt Vicki Molloy from Castlebellingham, Stephen Woods from Castlebellingham, Chloe's favourite aunt Lisa Molloy, Denise Quinn from Blackrock, Ger Cunningham from Castleblaney and aunty Mary Quinn from Blackrock who were all in great form and thoroughly enjoying the celebrations.
Also in their company were Rachel Brennan from Haggardstown, cousins James Woods and Hannah and Jake Keenan both from Dromiskin as well as Chloe's grandad better known as 'Louth's Best Tenor' David Eager Snr from Castlebellingham who was enjoying the company of his two daughters Gillian and Damian Keenan and Sonya Woods all from Dromiskin who told me they were having a lovely time and wanted to wish Chloe all the best on her big night.
Making my way over to another table I got a word with Chloe's brother David Eager and Elaine Johnston both from Bay Estate who wanted a big shout out for Jayden and Cameron whom call their favourite aunt Coco!
They were sitting with Chloe's mum Janice who was enjoying all the craic with Dolores Rath from Annagassan and Lisa Kearney from Dunleer who were all up for making the best of the party.
I then headed for the seats beside the dancefloor and met up with uncle Gerard and Celine Molloy from Castlebellingham who wanted a big shout out for Max and Caoimhe and a word of thanks to Shauna Roland for babysitting and they were with Brendan and Terry Woodlark from Armagh.
I then caught up with my old friend Deborah Kerr from Fernwood who was there with kids Kate and Emily and Dermot Mone from Greenwood Drive who all wanted to wish Chloe a very happy birthday. Next I got a word with uncle Mickey and Eileen Molloy who had come over from Castleblaney specially for the party and were certainly having a really great time.
Meanwhile up near the bar I then got a word with Niamh Bohan from Phillipstown, Amy Callan, Paul Lyons, Chris Faul and Ronan Hamill all from Dromiskin who are all good mates of Chloe's and told me it was going to be a totally mad night and wanted to wish her all the best.
Finally before I departed I got talking to Gerry Woods from Dromiskin who was with sons Mark and Alan who were having a bit of a celebration too, the two lads had finished 1st and 2nd in the All Track Rally Sports Association 2012 which was held recently in Aghadowey in Ballymoney. Mark had finished 1st in his Renault Clio Williams and Alan had taken 2nd place in his Honda Civic Type R. Congratulations lads certainly one for the sports pages me thinks!
