Aura's first ever 'Try a Tri' was a great success with 32 people taking part in the triathalon which comprised a 5km outdoor run, an 8km spin cycle followed by 100 metre swim.
The first man home was Niall Fergus who completed the triathalon in 34 minutes 1 second while Celine McAteer was the first woman home in 46 minutes 3 seconds. And special mention goes to the Kelly family, with Mum Briege, daughter Allsun and son Conal, completing the Tri.
'This was our first every triathalon and we hope it will become an annual event,' says manager Josephine Pepper.
The participants all did their training at Aura where they got lots of helpful advice and encouragement from the staff.
A barbecue was held afterwards.
