Dundalk Theatre Workshop is staging Terence Rattigan's classic tale 'The Winslow Boy' for two nights at An Táin Theatre at the Town Hall in Dundalk on Friday and Saturday, February 21 and 22, at 7.30 p.m.
The show will be staged locally before the workshop embark on a tour of the drama festival circuit.
Based on a true story of a father's fight to clear his son's name, the production drew packed houses, standing ovations and rave reviews when first performed last November. This is a visually stunning costume drama set in pre-World War One Edwardian London.
Directed by Fergus Mullen and with an impressively strong cast headed by Tim Ahern, Aine Corcoran and exciting newcomer Sean Og Cairns, this is a unique opportunity to see a first class production of a theatre classic.
