The Tidy Towns group has decided to add a new event to the programme of entertainment for the Blackrock Raft Race and Family Fun Day on Sunday, June 23, but this will not be a normal nag racing event – it will be a Pantomime Horse Race.

Teams of two will slog it out over an obstacle course for the coveted trophy and title of the first Blackrock Grand National winner ever.

Costumes will be provided, so all you need to do is come along on the day, pay an entry fee of €20 per team, and they're off!

To register a team, contact any member of the Tidy Towns, or find them on Facebook.
