Pride exhibition submissions

The Dundalk Pride Committee is calling for submissions for this year's Pride Art Exhibition which is being held as part of the North East community celebration of LGBT Pride.

The theme of this year's exhibition is 'Indentify' which follows from last year's 'Community' exhibition in the County Museum which attracted a wide variety of visual artists including sculptors, illustrators, lithograph printers, painters and photographers from various parts of the country.

The international celebrations of Pride are essentially about recognising, embracing and celebrating the diversity of all communities and this art exhibition is an expression of that.

The exhibition is being curated by Rachel Mathews-McKay and the deadline for submissions is June 21.

The exhibition will be on display in the County Museum from July 2 to 27 with the official opening on Tuesday July 16th.

The entry fee is €10 which goes towards the Museum rental fee and advertisement costs.
