Magical setting for Ravensdale play

The beautiful gardens and woods at Anaverna House, Ravensdale, are being transformed into a magical world for the staging of the play 'Lugh and the Children of Tuireann' next weekend.

Directed by Sharon McArdle, this re-telling of an ancient Irish story features some well known faces from the local stage including Alvaro Lucchesi and Doc Lavery who are being joined by Lord Bellew, and a cast including Mean Mullen, Pat McKenna, John Noonan, Donal Duffy, and Jacques Faure and children Antony Johnston, James Pilbeam and Silvie Keogh.

John Connolly and Rachel Shearwood are in charge of props while Aine Fox is looking after the costumes.
