Great shows in Spirit Store

AFTER A very good start to the New Year, the Quayside venue the Spirit Store have some really great shows to look forward to in the coming weeks with The 4 of Us, Ardal O'Hanlon and Gemma Hayes all in lined up to appear.

The week kicks off on Thursday night with a visit from the 'Certain Three' tour, featuring three of the best of the up and coming acts who are destined for big things and you can see Trumpets of Jerico, Nanu Nanu and Si Schroeder in action, Friday brings a rockabilly covers outfit called the Fool Moon Boogie Band and Newry's finest duo The 4 of Us play on Saturday.

But there are still some tickets left for Ardal O'Hanlon who is in action on Sunday night. Immortalised as Fr. Dougal McGuire in Fr. Ted and George Sunday in My Hero, he is recognised as one of the big names on the live stand up scene and this promises to be a cracking night.

Gemma Hayes plays her prog rock, folk and electronica to promote her fourth album 'Let It Break' on Saturday, February 2, and this is expected to be a huge night for all her fans.

If comedy is your forte don't miss Michael Winslow who made the Police Academy films quirky with all his vocal dexterity, he plays Friday 8th.
