Graduation glam was all the rage on big night for O'Fiaich College
We recently headed for O'Fiaich College where the students were gathering for the journey to Vanity in Carrickmacross which was hosting their graduation ball and by the time we got there, a good crowds of extremely well turned out young people where and ready to make a night of it.
I was only there when I met up with Amy Louise Boylan from Dromiskin who was bringing Brian Gaffney from Muirhevnamor who told me they were really looking forward to the night and couldn't wait for the craic to get going.
Not too long later I met up with Anton Webb from Drive 2 who was with his mate George Mulligan also from Drive 2 who were looking extremely sharp and said that it was going to be nothing short of an epic night.
The man who had travelled the furthest to be there on the night had to be Chris Ogonna who was there from London and he was on the arm of the lovely Sara Ali from Muirhevnamor who told me they were really looking forward to a good night with all Sara's mates.
Just arriving when I met them were the lovely Kinga Glazowska from Lisdoo who had brought Shane McKenna from The Quay who assured me it was going to be anything but a quiet nights' celebration.
After this I headed over for a quick word with Alex Smith from Crescent 2 who had been brought by the lovely Elena Howson from Glenwood. There to see them off was Elena's Sue who wanted to wish them all the best and a fantastic night of partying.
Not too long later I met up with Shane Corbett from Manydown Close who had brought Jorgi Markey from Newry and they were looking extremely well together and couldn't wait for the night to really kick off.
One girl who certainly looked the part was Tamika Moran from Ashling Park who was being brought by Gerard Dullaghan from Marina Park and they were the first couple whom I noticed were sporting the matching dress and tie!
After this I met up with the main organisers of the night Theresa Malone from Clontigora Court who had brought Dean O'Neill from Drogheda who were also sporting the matching dress and tie and were looking very well.
Fair play to Theresa and the committee for organising what was swiftly turning into an excellent night.
I headed over for a chat with Stephen O'Brien from Drive 2 who had brought Roslyn Colgan from Dublin and they were joined by Arpad Papp from Lennonstown Manor who was with Panna Darazsi from Mary Street North. Both girls were looking sensational in their respective dresses.
Just arriving as I was talking to the girls was Lyndsey McKeown from Knockbridge whom I'd met at her brother Ricky's 21st a couple of weeks ago and she was being brought by cousin Andy Joyce from Road 2. Lyndsey and Andy had been just dropped off by her mum Alice who wanted to wish them a great night out with all their mates.
Not too long later I then got talking to Gillian Callan from Marian Park who was there with Wayne Carr from Marian Park who told me they hail from the same street and were going to have a totally mad one, yep mad one and a cheap cab home afterwards!
Finally before we departed I got a word with Dylan Gartland from Grange Drive and Donna Gray from Glenmore Park who were in great from, were thinking safety first with their plastic glasses and looked extremely well, they also let it slip that it might turn into a wild and crazy night and all I could do was to encourage them.
