THE film 'Good Vibrations' which was partly shot in Dundalk has received two nominations for the Irish Film and Television Academy Awards (IFTAS).
It has been nominated for Best Film, with actor Richard Dormer dominated for Lead Actor, and Maggie Donnelly nominated for Best Costume: Maggie Donnelly.
The film tells the story of Belfast's 'Godfather of Punk' Terri Hooley who was hugely influential in Belfast's fledgling music scene during the 70s and 80s.
Scenes were shot in The Spirit Store, Broughton Street and Mountpleasant, with a number of locals getting roles as extras.
It is due to be released in Irish cinemas on March 29th.
