Zero growth

• In light of the recent stark ESRI report regarding growth prospects, I wonder how long more Simon Coveney is prepared to continue to be part of this Government?

On Saturday, May 26 at a fiscal treaty meeting in Ballyduff, Co Kerry, organised by north Kerry Fine Gael farmers, he publicly stated to the gathering that he would not wish to be part of this Government if there was no growth in the economy.

He said this in relation to a question that I posed abpit Ireland's €11bn contribution to the ESM bailout fund, and he added that it would not cost the taxpayer anything, which I cannot understand.
