We voted for change -- now Coalition must stop whingeing

THE time has come for the Fine Gael-Labour Coalition Government to stop whingeing about the cataclysmic mistakes of the previous Government and using them as a get-out-of-jail-free card when trying to justify pumping €24bn into the banks.

When people voted for Fine Gael and Labour, they voted for change. Instead, the new Government has taken up where the last Government left off.

Economists such as David McWilliams and Dr Constantin Gurdgiev claim that the latest injection will not be enough.
