We do not have to be big losers

Blessed Alan Dukes of Anglo Irish Bank has clarified the losses at the bank with some certainty.

Anglo lent €72bn, and somewhere between 10pc and 15pc are paying back what they owe. This suggests that Anglo lost €64bn.

NAMA will bail it out and hopes to recover €24bn, leaving a loss of €37bn.
