Wasters destroy decent people
Sir -- "There are no words, just black images that petrify." Thus wrote Gareth O'Callaghan in last week's Sunday Independent. Rarely have I read an article which kept me reading, wondering how it would end, and all the time both fascinating and horrifying.
When that poor man hurled himself under the train, it was as if all of the chancers, crooks, thieves and liars who had individually and collectively destroyed our beautiful country and drove him to this terrible decision, were there on the platform pushing him under the wheels. And do you know something? I believe that they were.
The decent people of Ireland who worked all of their lives and paid their taxes are now picking up the tab for the activities of the wasters who through greed and incompetence have destroyed the work and savings of a myriad lifetimes.
