TV with the real feelgood factor

Pen must be put to paper to congratulate TG4 for its production of the most outstanding documentary I've seen on Irish television in years: Cogar's presentation on Sunday, November 14, at 9.30pm, about 'Fleadh Ibiza' no less!

It had some of the best of our culture with a nicely balanced mix of Irish (subtitled) and English. There was spirited native dancing put to fine music and it was spellbinding. This half-hour's entertainment was joyful and fast moving with spectacular photography.

I believe this sort of production could be one of our quality exports to any part of the world, since it's about real people enjoying themselves no end -- besides cheering up ourselves in these testing times.
