SEAMUS Dolan writes complaining that they need roads in Tipperary because they lack public transport. But they already have adequate roads; the solution must be public transport (Letters, August 6).
How about people without cars?
Public transport is funded mainly by fares, not taxes, as he claims; I don't know how he thinks roads are funded if not by the taxpayer.
