Time to tear up Croke Park deal

European leaders and the IMF can offer all the reassurance about Ireland they want.

The bondholders, those who lend us the money, are not convinced. And with 60pc of our taxes going to public sector pay, they will remain unconvinced.

Furthermore, when the bailout is requested the IMF and the taxpayers of Europe won't agree to a bailout just to continue paying overpaid public sector workers.
