Time to stop blaming public for our woes
I AM getting more and more annoyed when people like Alan Kelly (Letters, April 15) state that it is my personal fault that Ireland went bust.
Like most people in this country, I bought a home, not a property portfolio. I bought a functional secondhand car, not a mobile status symbol.
If Mr Kelly “bought landmark buildings in London, holiday villas in Spain, Portugal, Florida, Croatia, etc” and bought a new BMW every year, then he should pay his debts and not expect me to pay for them.
