Time to reflect on budget pain

Madam – I refer to the headline and article written by Maeve Sheehan on the front page of the Sunday Independent (December 23) which read: 'Fallout from Budget and cyber abuse' troubled him.
The reporting of the tragic and untimely passing of the late Minister for State Shane McEntee made very stark and extremely sad reading as we approach the end of another turbulent year. I extend my sincere condolences to the McEntee family and all relatives and friends at this dark time.
I can fully understand that cyber abuse for anyone is upsetting and unforgivable. However, I believe it is high time that Taoiseach Enda Kenny and his Government open up to the truth of their harsh actions, especially regarding the Budget.
