Time to bin the dated anti-British diatribes
I CANNOT for the life of me fathom the tone of the letter of Tom Cooper on April 27.
A ruling head of state is visiting this country in the coming weeks. However, Mr Cooper is alarmed that children in Cork are being encouraged to celebrate this occasion by getting out of school a few hours early.
It is notable but not surprising, given Mr Cooper's continual anti-British diatribes, that he apparently sees no problem with the impending visit of President Barack Obama to these shores.
