The Three Walters

• This is the story of the three Walters. The first Walter, alias Enda, somehow ended up on the front of 'Time' magazine, having convinced the poor journalist that such is his power and his influence on a national and global stage, that the Irish economy would be sorted in no time at all.

The second Walter, known as Eamon, at great expense and with his vast entourage of advisers, stepped up to the plate in the United Nations and told the whole world how to sort out the Syrian conflict.

The third Walter, sometimes known as Michael D, great poet and statesman that he is, is in Chile telling the poor how to behave and how to run their country, and, as a bonus, presumably how to write poetry.
