Target our tax system, not low-paid workers

I think it is ironic that Enterprise Minister Richard Bruton should be on a crusade against low-pay workers when his basic salary is €202,676. I would like him to try and live on a basic wage for just six months, without the lavish expenses.
Wages in real terms could easily be reduced for all here if the tax system was not so generous for the well paid.
Everyone earning over €100,000 should be taxed at a higher rate than 41pc. Those on €200,000 could be taxed at a higher rate again.
