•Pat Walsh (Letters, November 17) openly admits "there are fraudulent mediums" who actively prey on vulnerable people grieving for lost loved ones, but then also claims "such criticism applies exclusively to fraudulent mediums, not to the genuine ones".
Exactly how would we know the difference between a "fraudulent medium" and one who claims to be, ahem, a "genuine medium"? Should we, perhaps, use a spirit level?
