SF plays double game on tax
I REALLY enjoyed Lise Hand's piece in yesterday's Irish Independent regarding Gerry Adams' foot-in-mouth contribution to yesterday's Dail debate. No need for the "applaud" card here, this was a belly-laugh special from a joker supreme.
How utterly bizarre to have the top half of Sinn Fein spewing nonsense in the Republic's parliament, while the bottom layer of the same party in the UK (Northern Ireland) apparently supports proposals to undo our competitiveness by reducing the corporation tax there.
I wonder if we will gain some brownie points for our unique ability to keep Europe smiling.
