Risk of hope

Almost everyone in Ireland is pleading for the Government to put its foot down. But what exactly they expect it to put its foot down on, is rather sketchy to say the least.

The old adage, that sometimes it's best to let sleeping dogs lie, might well be, for many Irish people right now, their saving grace.

It's plain to see that Ireland is in an across-the-board hell-bound, "last chance" limbo.
